Welcome to the home of Gyrn Castle Estate. Standing in a commanding position over the Dee Estuary, Gyrn Castle has views as far as Liverpool and on a fine day, even Blackpool Tower.
Gyrn Castle is a Grade II listed late Georgian Castle nestled in the heart of a conservation area in rural Flintshire. With excellent links to Liverpool, Chester and Manchester, the estate is easily accessible yet utterly secluded within it’s own ample grounds.

Steeped in history, the castle was bought by the first Sir Edward Bates, who used it as a base to keep a look out for his ships returning to Liverpool and would then take his private tug across the Mersey to meet them as they docked.
Privately owned, Gyrn offers an exclusive and very discreet venue for wedding ceremonies, large wedding receptions, corporate or private parties and sporting activities including carp fishing and pheasant shooting. In addition to this Gyrn could provide the perfect location for your film or venue for your music festival.
